Access Hollywood Live: Connie Guttersens Sonoma Diet Quality recipes

La, Calif. -- Svelte stars, like Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba, are generally fans from the Sonoma Diet, the industry healthy menu of seafood, vegetables, nuts, along with other fresh, whole-foods. Connie Guttersen, author from the New Sonoma Cook book stopped by Access Hollywood Live to talk about a couple of of her favorite dishes, which are really simple to make and take under half an hour to drag together. Heres the recipe on her tasty Gigi Salad. The Gigi Salad(beginning to end takes half an hour and yields 4 portions) Elements: 2 cups hearts of palms, sliced2 cups orange segments1 cup jicama, julienne1 pound shrimp, peeled and cooked1/2 cup Citrus Vinaigrette (see below) 1/2 cup pomegrante seeds1 California avocado, cut in quarters lengthwise, then in 1/4 inch pieces1/4 cup scallions, very finely cut on bias2 cups butter lettuce, cut into strips4 flatbreads2 tbsps slivered walnuts, toastedSalt and pepper to taste Mix heart of palm, orange, jicama, and shrimp inside a bowl. Toss with pepper and salt. Dress with 4 tbsps Citrus Vinaigrette. Lightly add pomengrante seed products, avocado, scallions, and lettuce. Serve on the top of warm whole-wheat flatbread. Garnish with walnuts. ***** Citrus Vinaigrette (4 portions) Elements: 1/2 cup orange juice1/4 cup grapefruit juice1 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon dark wine vinegar1 tablespoon orange zest1 tablespoon soy sauce1 tablespoon agave syrup 1 pinch chili flakes1 tablespoon olive oilSalt and pepper to taste Mix all elements inside a blender.
